The SAQA special exhibit "Deux: Two Ideas, Two Inspirations, Two Complementary Quilts" will be shown right here in our area!
Deborah Boschert is organizing an outing to view the exhibit and share some time together. The exhibit is part of the Sewing and Quilt Expo at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth on October 17, 18 and 19.
The get-together will be Friday, October 18. Please meet in the Deux exhibit at 10:15 am. This will give us time to park, enter the show and find our way to the exhibit. We'll see the exhibit all together and have some time to talk about the art quilts included. After, we can see more of the expo together or independently, then let's meet up for lunch in the food court area of the expo. We should be able to grab a table to share.
Please feel free to bring your friends! This get-together is not exclusively for SAQA members.
You can buy tickets online ahead of time for $8 plus $3 processing fee. Or $10 at the door. There is also an option for the driver to get in free if she carpools with two other people who pay $10 at the door. http://www.sewingexpo.com/
