The Houston Area Fiber Artists has a few spots available in an upcoming workshop and asked that I share the following information:
Houston Area Fiber Artists Workshop
Presenter: Sherrill Kahn
Date and Time: Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 from 10AM to 4PM
Sherrill will teach mixed media, which includes painting, stamping, weaving and collage techniques.
Location will be at the HEB Community Room at Interstate 10 and Bunker Hill, 9710 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77055. They have a deli and microwave so our lunch is easy if you don't bring your own.
Cost is $195 per person for the 2 day workshop (This includes a HAFA membership!). A supply list will be sent to those who take the class.
Sherrill's website is impressmenow.com. Go there and see what all she does and teaches and the several books she has published. She will have a brand new book available in April along with the stamps that she designs and sells.
