Our Texas Region Trunk Show showcases the wide range of artistic interests, styles and techniques used in the art quilts made by our members. It is available as an art quilt program for guilds and other artists groups and we can tailor the presentation to fit the interests of the membership and time allotted at meetings. The trunk show can also be displayed as a special exhibit at quilt shows, galleries, churches, schools, office buildings, open houses, or other special event.

A Texas Experience at QuiltFest in Austin

The theme A Texas Experience draws on each artist’s reflection on being a resident of the Lone Star State.  Inspiration was taken from the diverse topographic and cultural landscape; the past, present and future of the State; the emotional impact of being a Texan; and the unique people, events, scenery, etc. that is so much a part of the Texas mystique.

You can download our trunk show flyer here. A CD of all the quilts in the collection is also available along with a promotional one-sheet that can be given to curators and prospective venues. If you have a suggestion of a venue where the trunk show can be displayed or are interested in helping complete exhibit proposals, please contact Kim Buchmann at 512-736-2971 or kim@quilting-adventures.com.
